The Rose PERIOD (or; all-american heartthrob) comprises the works produced by American filmmaker Bryant Golden between September 2019 and 2023. Following his Blue Period, Golden’s Rose Period was meant to represent an endless summer. In December 2019, Golden sank into a severe depression and all of his projects were put on hold indefinitely. the global Covid-19 Pandemic delayed ALL OF his planned collaborations until they were ultimately cancelled.

How I Remember My Father, Golden’s first short film, was the only project released during the Rose Period. The film was shot on location in Los Angeles over five days in September 2019. In May 2022, the short film was made available online for only two months.

Golden’s Rose period was followed by his SCARLET period.
